What is it about practical jokes that we love so much? I remember that a friend of mine, Sam, and I had a practical joke war that went on for years. He dacked me at work, I put industrial food colouring in his drink, he locked me in a walk in freezer for a half-hour, I warped his whole car is 800 ft of cling wrap… lot’s of fun but in all honesty… a little cruel. You laugh about it later but at the time you are spitting venom.
This is one such cruel and unusual torture that you can play on a fellow film editor, or anyone you want really.
The file attached below contains another zip file called “42.zip” which is only 42 bytes.
“42.zip” contains 16 zipped files, which again contains 16 zipped files, which again contains 16 zipped files, which again contains 16 zipped, which again contains 16 zipped files, which contain 1 file, with the size of 4.3GB.
So, if you extract all files, you will most likely run out of space.
16 x 4294967295 = 68.719.476.720 (68GB)
16 x 68719476720 = 1.099.511.627.520 (1TB)
16 x 1099511627520 = 17.592.186.040.320 (17TB)
16 x 17592186040320 = 281.474.976.645.120 (281TB)
16 x 281474976645120 = 4.503.599.626.321.920 (4,5PB)
The password is… 42
So if you want to irritate a mate who is in the middle of a cut, send him over a “great plugin” and rename the zip to whatever you want.
42 may be the answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, but for a while your mate may think that 42 is the number of beatings you deserve so best to do this prank from a distance.
Have you done this prank? What pranks have you done, now or in the past, to a fellow video guy?

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if it can
survive a 30 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
